Joey’s Fund was honored to be a part of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Annual All Kid’s Wonderland. All Kid’s Wonderland is hosted by the Department of Patient and Family Centered Care at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. This event is free for over 200 families whose children are receiving care – to come and “shop” for gifts for the holidays. All Kids’ Wonderland’s goal is to alleviate some of the stress of the holidays during hard financial times.
Our Founder, Anthony DeCarlo spent the day with our partners at the hospital meeting families and giving toys to families. Anthony DeCarlo said “I feel thankful to be able to give back. I was one of those families struggling with medical bills from my son when he was sick with leukemia, it’s very fulfilling to be able to pay it forward.”
